Happy Valentine’s Day @saraagahfranti ! It was the day after Valentine’s in Bali years ago that I sat on the edge of the bed after a particularly rough relationship morning together and realized that even my worst day With you is better than the best day I ever had before you were in my life. So I picked up my guitar and wrote the song Life Is Better With You. Ever since that time our life has been filled with joy, sadness, laughter, challenges, victories, emotional bumps in the road, wild dancing, singing together with you on piano and me on guitar, lots of movie nights, carb binges, rallies for causes we believe in, and through it all countless hours of closeness. Today I celebrate your charm, beauty, tenacity for social justice, brainy nerd-iness, gorgeous smile and overwhelming joie de vivre that leaves me breathless with every XO! Almost every morning when I wake up and night when I fall asleep holding you, I have to ask myself, ”Can I believe I found you and that we are married?” Or you ask me the same thing:).
