My Louisiana trip wouldn't be complete without a visit to Baton Rouge and my alma mater LSU. I used to run this park all the time. .

This is the first visit I've had since moving 3 years ago that I really got to explore. It's so surreal to think where I was when I lived here vs where I'm at now... when I moved I was working 3 jobs, in school full time. I was so tired all the time but I made it work...

You really don't realize your life when it's changing because you're wrapped up in the moment. Coming home really reminds me that dreams come true and they take time. I've had my heartbroken, I've faced hard truths and I saved every dollar and worked my ass off to get to this place. I'm so happy with my life but I truly can't wait to see what the next 3 years bring me and I hope I'm looking back with the same sense of "Aha. You did it." .
