I knew the first time we kissed that you were the one. At the time I didn't know what that meant but I knew it was going to be special. I didn't know we would play with our child in the mud, we would marvel at Cambodia's greatest treasures, that we would eat frozen cherries and drink ice cold vodka in Turkey, that we would say our vows overlooking the Duomo in Florence, that we would write movies together, learn lines together, sleep outside under the stars at 9 months pregnant together, that we would look at each other for comfort when we thought we were in a situation that might have been our last, that we would laugh, and cry, and fear, and stress and feel and one day die... Together. I didn't know that. But from where I'm standing we have had a pretty fucking great ride and I look at our future... Our future of 50 years and I think damn I'm so glad I kissed that man.
