Such an emotional time when your child is sick. Worry and sympathy don’t come close to describing the real emotion.

Shouldn’t this virus have passed by now? Is their something more I could be doing to help him recover faster? It’s such a horrible and helpless feeling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀Hamilton has been struggling with a virus that is upsetting his stomach and giving him a high fever. He suffered a small seizure due to the fever and it was the most terrifying experience of my life. We stayed overnight in hospital to monitor him, which was comforting, but very stressful at the same time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀We have checked out of hospital now and he is back home. Fortunately he is doing much better, but is still not himself. I miss his sparkling smiles and usual bounding energy. We’re Spoiling him rotten with lots of kisses and cuddles. Get well soon my ?
