The 2015 Barrel Climber is both really rich and elegant. Kent is one of many who were affected by the Sonoma fires late last year in October. His family lost their home in Coffey Park to the Tubbs Fire. The wines I have tried at @erickentwines have all been great and varied expressions of the grape chosen. Really impressed and full of support for people who put their heart and soul into anything, and Kent and his colleagues do just that with these wines. As with all their bottles, they have a double sided label, one from the winemaker, and one on the other side being an offering from a local Sonoma artist, in this case a lovely piece by @patriciaariel.
