My birthday cake. 50. Here we go. The ride is gettin’ good. I’m finding my stride. The friends are refining with always rumbles of punk rock intentions underneath. My children thrive and give presents so meaningful they always bring tears, as I can’t imagine them not in my life. Those firemen back in Tucson, to GeVa theatre in NY to some lame Cafe Lalo reading in LA — I swallowed it all. The adventures: the happy face of France with my four year old, the sick day at the water park with my little girl. We do it all. We never held back. And my sweet, Kathryn: old school primal love.
