Surprised by Roly this morning when he presented me with my Halberg Award at the pool. Behind this award are so many people on this journey who get me through everyday, and to the day when it all counts. One person in particular is this guy, who comes to the pool with the same goal and vision we set together, along with bringing his love and passion for swimming every day! It can very much be a love hate relationship at times, especially when you have been together for 17 years and know how and when to push each other's buttons. However we both choose to grow and learn off each other to be better people and stronger as a coach and athlete. I Wouldn't have this any other way! Thanks Roly! ?
