Please take 20 seconds to sign my petition to honor Rhoda Hogan's $125,000 that Cornell Feline Health Center @cornellvet was awarded in 2007. ??❤️
Mrs Hogan wanted her large bequest to go to, her words, "An organization to be used to publicize and educate the public about the cruel effect of de-clawing cats and to support legislation forbidding it," so that kitties like the one in this picture wouldn't be harmed for their lifetime from this inhumane and barbaric toe amputation procedure!
Facts:
1)Cornell won't support the anti-declawing legislation in NY. ?
2) Cornell said they used the $100,000 to make 6 short two minute videos but the feline behaviorist that wrote ALL the material for the videos and starred in them, told me that she doesn't remember being paid and if she was it was only a few hundred dollars! ??
3) Cornell STILL hasn't used $25,000 of Mrs Hogan's bequest.?
This is egregious. This is sickening. This is completely unacceptable from one of the best and most prestigious vet colleges in the world!!! If this was your mom or grandmother, you would want the world to help her! My mom and I are the ONLY ONES helping this poor woman who has been turning over in her grave for the last 10 years because of this.
