Another trip around the sun... Wow. It’s funny, but in a world obsessed with youth, I find myself in love with getting older. I’m proud to be in my 30s, excited by the confidence I’ve earned and the strength and knowledge I’ve gained. I’ve come to know myself better than before, no longer held back by my teenage insecurities. Life is pretty wild and I’m sure one day getting older will feel stranger than it does today. But today it feels great. It feels like a gift. One more year I got to be here and love the ones I do, do the things I love, and trek further than before on the path of this adventure filled life. I spent my birthday in gratitude for it all, the good and the bad, with faith and hope for what this next year will bring. In my mind and spirit, I continue to keep the child in me alive, but I’m thrilled to be a woman now too. No one ever told me just how wonderful it would be. Thank you for all of the love yesterday. Your kindness and well-wishes overwhelmed me and filled me up to the brim with joy. My birthday wish is that 2018 brings you abundance in all its forms, and that perhaps you can continue to try, like me, to not let the pressures of this world break you down or make you feel like you’re not enough. Because you are. And I’m so happy you’re here to share the ride with me. ❤️ #RambleOn
