Even before my TED talk, I would email high schools and be like, “Hey, I just want to come in and do it.” And they would be like, “Well, how much do you cost?” And I was like, “No, it’s free.” I just want to come in because I want to get my story out there. The more you put yourself out there, and the more you’re talking about the issues you really believe in, the more the world is really going to change.” confesses Ashley, when asked if being a motivational speaker was ever something she predicted.
