I once was asked if I spent all my time in cafes. The answer is not by any stretch, but I do make having time to slow down a priority so in that sense, I do visit certain cafes fairly regularly. And there is one coffeehouse in particular that is sort of tucked away from the busy areas around here that my son and I especially enjoy. We usually bring our creative supplies and stay for a good hour or so, and I’ll tell you - having that time together means more to me than the most elaborate of adventures. It’s the little moments.

Lately I’ve been carrying the LAMY Aion in Olivesilver from @gouletpens as part of my EDC. I really like the clean and modern design by Jasper Morrison. And the nib. So wonderfully smooth with great ink flow. Simply a joy to write with.
