I didn’t know that alley of trees behind me was Memory Lane, but that is where this photo has led us after all these years. At the time though, all I could think of was my checks and hips ! None of the other models seemed to have them! So under my Russian Bolshevik outfit I was posing in for French Vogue, ( on my first week as a model no less!) I was trying to suck my cheeks in and minimize my hips. How could I have known that the things that make one different are the very things that set you apart and make you...YOU! And If you would have told me then that someday The blush I would use to carve out my check bones would be from my own make up line from my own @brinkleybeauty company well ...I would have said ,”yeah and my family physician is Dr Zhivago !” Lol!
Oh and take a look at my hair, cause in a few moments the famous hairdresser Jean Louis David would chop it off perm it and in that crazy way fate sometimes works, it would lead to my relationship with @Sports Illustrated Swimsuit ! But I’m getting ahead of myself.. this is not the fast lane yet !
