I am often asked where I get my meal inspirations from. True that you can’t just produce hundreds of recipes from your humble brain. The answer is @cookpad_tv, the largest recipe sharing service in Japan. I downloaded the app (Japanese version) and subscribe monthly for the premium version. There are more than 2 million recipes in the app uploaded by real users, so the ideas are really endless.

For example today I had pork and cabbage in the fridge, so I searched for “pork cabbage”, and I ended up making 回鍋肉. Really yummy. ?

Before I sleep I will also browse through the app for new or trending recipes so that I can buy the ingredients the next day. Cooking is getting really fun.
Also on the menu today: Komatsuna No Ohitashi (小松菜のお浸し), Gobo Kinpira, tofu miso soup and Nagasaki Ichigo.
