Each month I have been writing a Column for @flaremag. The topics have ranged from my relationship with social media to the emotional ups and downs after having a baby. This months column is all about my relationship with Timmy- an especially revealing and tender one to write. My relationship with Timmy is my 🌍 and I’d never say anything publicly to compromise that. However, before I wrote this column, I wanted to make sure Timmy was comfortable with how deep I’d be getting and he told me just to be extremely real and honest and he would never be upset with me for doing that. Because I don’t hide anything from him, we both felt comfortable sharing all of this. I dig into what it was like before I was pregnant, how pregnancy changed me/us and how we make time and space for each other now. I’ve come to realize that writing these columns has been very cathartic. Not only do I feel more settled and more clear about the specific topic I’m writing about, but it makes me feel so good to be this vulnerable and know for certain there are other people out there that feel the same.
