I agree 4.44 deserved some love last night on the grounds of Jay’s transparency alone... I also have been moved and very inspired by HOW FAR the Carters have been going to speak UP and speak OUT against all things inner city, less fortunate and Black...... We have no other reason to exist as entertainer than to USE out God given stage, influence and “access” to highlight political bullshit and create a shift in our universe...... So as you sit at home like me in your feelings about Jay not taking home a Grammy just remember guys - The Carter’s all across the board aren’t hurting for wins......... like me and a lot of young legends in music I’ve been singing and doing music for 20 years and haven’t won 1 yet.... The bar is high and the music these days is being dummied down and Down and Down - So trust me I’m Inspired by the Carters cause they have figured out HOW to make Music still MATTER...... Hate I missed the GRAMMYs and and all the Pre-Grammy fun in NY with my loved ones..... it was too damn cold in NY..... It’s 85’ that #flu bug is real out here so of course I stayed put........ Salute!!!!!
