I remember going to the Carlsbad gap when I was younger and thinking, “Damn, this shit is big.” And you know how over time gaps and stairs seem to shrink as you get better at skating? Years later I went back to the Carlsbad gap thinking I wanted to do a few tricks down it, thinking it was gonna be smaller. It wasn’t. The run up was good, the gap was big and long and the landing was uphill (although hard to tell in footage) and kind of sucked, so that just means this bigspin from @erikellington goes down as an all-time.
