This week, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester have visited The Francis Crick Institute – a biomedical discovery institute that is dedicated to understanding health & disease. The Duke is joint President of @CR_UK.

During their visit, TRH toured the Cell Cycle and Quantitative Cell Biology and met staff & students who are undertaking research to understand more about cancerous cells and how to treat them.

The Institute was formed in 2015 & in 2016 it moved into a brand new state-of-the-art building that was opened by The Queen, Patron of Cancer Research UK.
