Like most women I have spent so much of my life disliking the texture of my hair. From blowouts to treatments to color to irons - the list goes on. Then I had my daughter and I would spend time explaining to her why her hair was so beautiful and unique and interesting. Then it dawned on me. How can my daughter watch me keep changing my own hair and look in the mirror and love hers. She can’t. So I’ve made an effort this year to spend as much time in my own skin. With my natural hair. To show her that I can love myself, including my hair, just like she can hers. ❤️
