THE TIMES THEY ARE A’ CHANGING. I teared up seeing Greta Gerwig, Jordan Peele and Rachel Morrison’s names on the Oscar nominations list this morning. Gerwig is the 5th woman to be nominated for best director, Peele the 5th black Director to be nominated for best director and Morrison the FIRST WOMAN to be nominated for best cinematographer. This time of upheaval and change in our world can feel difficult but I am SO FUCKING HAPPY to be on this side of history right now.
