8 years ago I lost one of my childhood best friends to suicide. His name was Donald ❤️. There isn’t enough space on this page for me to list all the special, beautiful things about him, or all the ways he made so many of us laugh all the time. He was one of those friends whose love you know you will feel for a lifetime. The thing I learned about losing someone was, even after they are gone, that place they once occupied in your life and in your heart will remain their spot forever.
So to honor him, I have joined the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for their ‘Out of the Darkness Orlando Walk’. Our goal is to raise $5000.00 in Donalds name to benefit AFSP in funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.
