I visited the place where the wildflowers grow. I forgot that I left a piece of myself in Philly but it did not forget me. The first time I set foot in this city as my home of several years, something awakened in my soul and those were some of my favorite moments and years. Who knew it would resuscitate again after such a long slumber. We get these pockets of magic in between all the grinds of life that pull at us. I tend to want to merge it all together and feel out of sorts and saddened in the ebbs and flows and flux when it fades past our fingertips. But I went to the place where the wildflowers grow and it reminded me that home is always in the heart and to simply enjoy the life that springs up in the cracks and nooks and crannies. Because those are gifts. And gifts are simply meant to be received.
