A direct democracy is pretty simple, let the people decide. This is the foundation of POPULIST. No panel, no single dictator, no electoral college, no special interests to serve like modern politics, just plain and simple; he who gets the most votes wins. But unlike previous years, this year was the first year it became she who gets the most votes wins. The minute we launched POPULIST I have never seen more online activity amongst fans than I did with Lacey’s. The amount of people posting, reposting and talking about it on their pages and on their Instagram stories was more than I saw any other year with anyone else. So, it is no big surprise to me now that @laceybaker has emerged as the winner for this year’s POPULIST award. Congratulations Lacey!!! And thank you to everyone who voted this year and made it one of the best years yet for your voice being heard.
