I fell in love..
to the beautiful world surrounding me. To the fresh smell of rain as it awakened the world. To the misty dew drops nestled on my car and the way the fog hung under the street lights. To the crescent moon that hugged the sky. To the love that lived in every little thing every time I opened my eyes. To the red lights that kept me safe & to the green ones that let me cruz. I fell in love.. with the strangers that became trusted friends. To the tears that seemed to never stop that made me appreciate the smiles that never end. To the inside jokes and memories packed inside my little brain. To the things I’ve learned through every trial & all the pain. I fell in love.. with the journey, with seeing the bright side amidst the tragedy. To navigating what I felt to where I was meant to be. I fell in love that night.. not with any thing new or out of the ordinary but to the extraordinary life that was right in front of me. To the love, the joy, and the freedom inside of me. To the me I’ve always been that just wants to spread positivity, to the good heart that God put inside of me. I fell in love that night with what has always been mine. The world at my finger tips, God’s love in my heart; I was alive.
