#TBT It’s mentor month: I met Edgar as a 17-year-old when Seattle drafted me No. 1 overall.  I’m so grateful to have had him take me under his wing. I’ve often said he’s got a PhD from Harvard in hitting. He taught me so much. I was like a sponge around him. He was kind and generous with his information.  Best right-handed hitter I’ve ever seen, but an even better person. A family man, a father, a true role model.
