Back coming DO’s & DON’T

DO:
1) Use a lot of tension
2) Take smaller sub sections so that that section will be saturated in Lightener.
3) The lower you start your backcomb, the darker the piece will be - the higher your back comb the more brighter it will be.
4) Do use a @thewetbrush & Fab.Me to detangle

DON’T
1) make sure to not get any Lightener on the area that you backcombed to avoid blotchiness.
2) Avoid taking big sections, it makes for a messy application.
3) DON’T leave the back Comb in before toning. Brushing it out before a toner allows for an even canvas to work with so you don’t miss any spots.
