I’ve been posting a lot of stuff about the girls lately because I think skateboarding needs to pay attention to them more. I think we all need to look at this year a lot differently than we have in the past. I think it’s more important than ever to not only welcome the way the world is changing but be a positive voice for it. We talk about how everyone is accepted in skateboarding yet we see an extraordinary amount of hate every day on this thing we carry around with us at all times and I just don’t believe that gets anyone anywhere. I believe that a positive comment goes a lot farther than a negative one and that only the negative ones give the impression that it is an opinion of consensus when it’s not. The majority of people are nice. Let’s start drowning out the hate with positivity. Thanks @pistol_pat for making this.
