#TheColorPurple was one of my favorite films growing up. My grandma first introduced it to me, and we would watch it over and over again together. At that young age, the weighty themes and issues naturally went over my head. I am now aware of how special it was , to learn about these women’s stories...about abuse and perseverance, whilst sitting next to my Grandma. In light of the moving speech @オプラ・ウィンフリー gave last night at the @ゴールデングローブ賞 , this film felt like the perfect choice for today’s #movieoftheweekwithcb
