In keeping with my new years resolution, I’m trying to make homemade healthy snacks. So, we bought a food dehydrator! Experiment 1: Kale in 135°F for 4 hours and an amazingly poorly made kale and apple fruit roll up. Kids ate it up! More to come!

Mantendo-me fiel à minha resolução de ano novo, estou a tentar fazer petiscos em casa. Por isso, comprámos um desidratador de alimentos! 1ª experiência: Couve em 57°C durante 4 horas e uma pasta de couve e maçã muito mal feitinha. Mas os miúdos comeram! Vou postando os resultados!

EDIT: so it seems anything above 118°F kills all the nutrients and enzymes in the raw food! So I won’t using temps above that anymore!
