I finally got the courage to go back to the beach with my family. I tried to go back there a few other times since the final trip with Jazzy, but it had been too emotional for me, I just couldn’t do it. This visit was surprisingly therapeutic and heartening because of BB and my family being there with me. This was BB’s first time on the beach but she behaved perfectly, just like Jazzy and Coop used to. ? I had never seen her this happy—wagging her tail and smiling constantly. I could literally feel my heart swell up with happiness. ???
