President Trump defended his morning tweets, in which he called himself a “very stable genius,” and spoke out against author Michael Wolff during an impromptu press conference on Saturday. #Trump said he felt compelled to fire off the tweets defending his mental state after the publication of Wolff’s tell-all book.

“Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,” the president said in a tweet. During the press conference at Camp David, he cited his resume and success as both a television personality and a businessman as proof that he is — and always has been — in great mental health.
