"I took this photo at Hosmer Grove Campground (Maui) and it’s probably the easiest place to see the ʻIʻiwi in the entire state. It’s located only a few minutes away from the visitor center and you don’t have to hike. In fact, I shot this image right next to the parking area. You also see more ʻIʻiwi in this area more often in winter than other seasons. If you just wait for 10-20 minutes, you are almost guaranteed to see a few ʻIʻiwi birds."
