Having never attended college herself, @フランシア・ライサ had to do a little bit of studying for her role as Ana Torres on @BlackIshABC spin-off @GrownIsh. “A lot of stuff I asked my sister about because she went [to college]," she tells Flaunt.com. "But I know what it’s like to leave home and fend for yourself and not rely on Mommy or Daddy. Funny enough, I’m 29 playing a college student. I’ve gone through a lot of firsts in life, and that’s basically what college is: learning to be an adult. I didn’t have to do too much research. I just had to reflect on my own life.”
