Today’s #WCW is Tarana Burke, creator of the #MeToo movement and Senior Director at Girls for Gender Equity. She has been a warrior in the fight to end sexual harassment and sexual violence in all areas of life, making sure the movement has centered the voices of the most marginalized women. She has become a friend, and let me tell you, this woman has a strong, powerful voice, and is a fierce leader in this fight. Watching her get the recognition she deserves for doing the brutal difficult work day in and day out created a fire in my belly to continue in this fight. Thank you for all the work that you do to end discrimination, harassment and abuse. Let us lift her up!!!!
