I love this quote by John Steinbeck so very much. It speaks volumes to me and is a reminder of one the greatest lessons my folks ever taught me: “to put myself in other people’s shoes”. That sound and thoughtful advice has taught me so much about men and women from all walks of life, myself included. While some days are more successful than others, I strive to practice this sentiment every single day.
