Another year moving into the rear view mirror. It was an interesting, wild and sometimes heartbreaking year watching the spectacle of our politics, the roll back on protections of our National Parks and Monuments, and seeing the undeniable effects of climate change around the world. There was also much to be thankful for….personally, as always, it meant sharing transformative moments with friends and family - watching the solar eclipse, exploring Antarctica and climbing a dream route with @コンラッド・アンカー. Highlights certainly hinged on bearing witness to the successes of friends who dreamt big, @アレックス・オノルド achieving a life long goal of free soloing El Cap, @kristine_tompkins' life work culminating in President Bachellet handing over 11million acres of protected National Parks to the Chilean people, and of course, all the incredible creative endeavors and story telling coming from new and old friends. 2017 has been one or the books.
