Three years ago today I had a small amount of cancer cells taken from my right breast. It was a frightening and beautiful day. Frightening because I hate going under and beautiful because the day was full of complete surrender. I had not felt such peace and strangely on such a tense day. I had been mediating so much then and was fully accepting of whatever the outcome would be. The pure definition of freedom and what the word fearless means - being afraid but going forward anyway. It was also a day that my body was thanking me. Thanking me for listening closely to the clues that something was wrong. I had felt a pressure in my chest for some time and there was no medical reason I was told. After being an undiagnosed unheard #celiac for years I no longer relied on any other opinion but my own when regarding my health. I pressed on and discovered these cells.
