If you are a parent or plan on becoming one, I implore you to stop what you are doing and read this jaw droppingly informative book.
I read this a few months back and am now revisiting it like a college course. It pains me to think of how powerless and innocent our children are. The words we use and the control we hold literally shapes their destinies. We owe it to them and to the children we once were to be our most compassionate, most informed, most aware selves. I fucking hate books on parenting but this has me reeling.
