After fleeing the Syrian civil war in 2013, she and her family lived in refugee camps in Jordan, where they received support from the nonprofit before finally settling in the United Kingdom in late 2015. “I’ve started my new life in the U.K., but I haven’t forgotten about the people who are still living in camps and cannot access an education,” says Muzoon, who has become a staunch advocate for children remaining in school after seeing many of her classmates drop out to get married and start families. “Now I try to use my voice as much as I can to get world leaders to put education at the top of their agenda and to help people understand more about refugees.” ? #21Under21 ?: @dafyhagai
