Making us stop to honour the gift that each one of us brings to life
Of the sacred present moment
Of not wasting time pretending we may have forever and not fulfilling our deepest dreams and speaking our rawest truth in each moment
And of the beauty of community, through experiencing grief and vulnerability together we can feel more deeply connected and held

Death and darkness, I honour you, I embrace you equally to lightness and life, for we need all to live fully and to make us whole
