@iamspecialized wanted to invite you to come out to our annual A1 Ride Daze weekend, this January in Southern California, the weekend of Anaheim 1 Supercross. This year’s Ride Daze will be extra special as we are dedicating the event to our dear friend, Nicky Hayden, who was taken away from us all far too soon. Nicky rode at every single A1 Ride Daze, both Road and MTB, since the very first one in January of 2012 – six years ago. He was always so gracious with his many fans who would come out for the chance to ride with him and get a picture. The rides won’t be the same without his easy southern smile.
@iamspecialized are very proud to say that we will be announcing the winner of the Road 2 Recovery raffle for Nicky’s custom Specialized Venge ViAS bicycle. Nicky’s Venge was being built when the accident happened and sadly he never got the chance to see it. Tommy, Roger and the rest of the Hayden family wanted one of Nicky’s loyal fans and friends to have to own this very special bike, which is how the raffle came to be. And the best part is that all the proceeds go to the Nicky Hayden Memorial Fund, helping kids in Nicky’s home state of Kentucky. Raffle tickets can be purchased for just a few dollars apiece, either now at www.nickyhaydenmemorialraffle.com or in person the on morning of the road ride at the brand-new Specialized Costa Mesa bike shop. Lori Amstutz from Road 2 Recovery will be on site to draw and announce the winner, while broadcasting live on Road 2 Recovery’s social media. It will be really special, we hope to see you there.
