you can't have a conversation about hong kong without a conversation about its food and drink offerings. it's probably next to my top reason for visiting. for my @Chase #SapphireSix guide, i chose to highlight @ronin_hk, sort of the OG of the new school restaurants. here you'll find japanese small plates focused on seafood as well as a massive whiskey library. for more casual dining, check out sister restaurants, @yardbird and @sundaysgrocery. it's incredibly hard to narrow down restaurant recommendations, but i had to also include @samsenhk in my six, a thai restaurant that opened last year featuring street food favorites. here, the wait can be over an hour long, but the boat noodles and other noodle dishes are worth it! many of the truly old school classic spots are still cash-only but if you want that experience, don't miss mak's noodles and kau kee.

and for a hemingway fan like me, coming across the new @theoldmanhk, which is directly inspired by "the old man" was a dream. if i could only include one cocktail bar in my @Chase #SapphireSix, it'd be this one, hands down. drinks here (which are creative but well-balanced) are named after hemingway classics, like "a farewell to arms" and "death in the afternoon". if i had my way, i would drink through the whole menu. #sapphireonlocation #sponsored
