Happy Birthday to my brother Steven Spielberg! Man, can you believe it's been exactly 32 years since we released “The Color Purple?!” Working daily, side by side with you for 13 months from script to screen was a once in a lifetime roller coaster experience in filmmaking, & I'm thankful to have truly bonded as friends & brothers. Nobody in the world, especially in LA, thought we would ever pull it off, but...we did it together, with the help of our other producing gurus, Kathleen Kennedy & Frank Marshall. Y'awl are true geniuses & I wouldn't have traded that experience for anything on the planet! Coming together on that project could've only happened through divine intervention...I mean, what are the odds that we would’ve found Oprah to play the role of Sofia...Harpo’s wife (Oprah spelled backwards!)?? I always say that “a coincidence is just God's way of remaining anonymous” (-Albert Einstein)...& the close-knit group we had on that film was no accident. All my love to you brother...eternal ❤️ & PROPS...Xo...Q
