"Here's how it works: I open my beak, you throw the food in. Got it?!" - @bearybythebeach came face to face with this rather hungry #emu at @currumbinsanctuary in the @destinationgoldcoast recently - lucky she had some pellets to feed him! Don't worry though, emus are generally more shy than aggressive; especially when they live in a wildlife park and are comfortable with humans. If they give you a friendly peck, it's just because they're checking you out - and most likely searching for snacks. Make sure you have some on hand!
