I remember standing outside the skateshop by my house in St. Louis, Missouri. I had been skating only a few months. There were some other kids near me and one of them approached and asked, “Can you kickflip?” And I was like, “I can heelflip.” Which was a total lie, but I didn’t want to look weak or inexperienced... so I stood on my board and miraculously did a perfect heelflip first try. I was amazed because I had never made an attempt at one prior to that, not even once. But lemme tell you something, as good as it was, it was never as good as the heelflip @neenwilliams has developed. I mean... does he not have the greatest heelflip in the history of skateboarding?
