Our first view of the Fenriskjeften range in Queen Maud Land aka “the Wolf’s Jaw”, our home for the next few weeks. This series of distinct peaks layout in the shape of a sharp toothed canine jaw culminating w Ulvetanna, the largest granite peak in the range. We’ll be camped in an area somewhere right below the wing tip. All the peaks have Norwegian names since the area was first explored by a Norwegian team led by Ivar Tollefsen in the 1990’s. Ivar and his team have subsequently returned to climb many of the first ascents in the area. @ザ・ノースフェイス #tnfantarctica17
