Earlier today, The Duchess of Cambridge visited The Rugby Portobello Trust at its community centre in North Kensington to find out more about its work and in particular how it has supported the local community in the months following the Grenfell Tower fire. The Trust runs programmes for children and parents such as homework clubs, sporting activities, social groups and tuition. Her Royal Highness met families benefitting from the services, as well as staff and volunteers, and helped prepare for a Christmas party which is taking place there later today, as well as giving out Christmas presents.
