This is Normansfield Theatre at Normansfield Hospital and The Langdon Down Centre. This place, has been a safe haven for people with special needs since 1877... the hospital was run by Dr John Langdon Downs who was the first to describe and research what we now know as Downs Syndrome in 1862. I grew up in a family that supports people with special needs and Downs Syndrome within our home so going to watch the Christmas Show, a fundraising event for The Downs Syndrome Society, with my family was so much fun. Everyone who performed did an amazing job.
