To anyone interested in how you can help the people of California the @fastcompany article (link in my bio and on my story) has very useful information on ways you can donate and emergency phone numbers for people to call. This is a devastating situation that is very close to my heart as I have lived in California and fallen in love with it (of course) and have family and friends who are in the midst of this tragedy. Anyone who has been there can say they’ve fallen in love with the people, the beautiful scenery and the amazing weather. At this point there is over 95,000 acres (maybe more) of California land that has been destroyed and not only that but there are families being evacuated from their homes losing all of their possessions so anything we can do to help goes a very long way. If there’s is any other information you may have please let me know and I will do my best to spread the word.
