This is Ahmed. He is six years old. All he has ever known is the fighting in Syria. School used to be a safe place for him to play and learn with his friends but since his school building was destroyed by a bomb, his safe place has been taken away.

A growing number of countries have agreed that children like Ahmed deserve the chance to go to school and plan for a better future.
