We planned well ahead to be at Trillium Lake for sunset. We reached the outback roads that'd take us there, only to find out that the road was closed. So, that left us with a two mile hike ahead and half an hour left for sunset. It was -4°C outside and we were barely prepared, but that didn't stop us; Happy to have reached this spot just on time

Hard to describe the feeling of seeing this near perfect reflection of a 11000 something ft mountain
